2009-2010 Madison Cheerleaders

The Madison High School cheer squads attended the UCA camp at Texas A&M from August 25 - 28, 2009. The varsity, junior varsity and freshmen squads received Superior ribbons during evaluations. Varsity was awarded with Camp Champs by placing first in the Camp Cheer. Junior varsity also won first place and were awarded Champ Champs for the Camp Dance Extreme Routine, as well as runners up in the Camp Cheer. Freshmen received first place in both categories, making them Camp Champs in the Camp Cheer and Camp Dance Extreme Routine. 

Individual All American Awards were given to three varsity seniors: Danielle Vachon, head cheerleader; Megan Gill, co-head cheerleader; and Mallory Dorantes. With the award, each were given an application to try out for UCA staff the following year.

The entire Madison cheer group was honored with the Camp Leadership Award, which is the most prestigious award to receive. This award, also given to only one team from the camp, rewards the cheerleaders' for their skills and overall leadership as a group and school.
